Where are you located?
341 Gregory Terrace, Spring Hill at a place called Providence House. We are directly across the road of Centenary Pool.
Where do I park?
There is plenty of street parking off Gregory Terrace. We recommend Kinross Street and Park Street. Parking on these streets is free for 2 hours.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can see a psychologist or counsellor without a referral. If you would like to obtain a medicare rebate for sessions with a psychologist, then a referral from your GP under a Mental Health Treatment Plan is required. Make sure you book a long consultation (20-40 minutes) with your GP for a Mental Health Treatment Plan as time is required to assess your mental health.
How do I prepare for the first session?
Once you have made an appointment, you will be emailed an online intake and consent form. Consent forms often cover issues such as privacy, confidentiality, and access to information. To make the most of your time in the first session, it is recommened that you complete these forms before the appointment. To find out what to expect from counselling go here.
