Conditions We Commonly Treat via Telehealth

Telehealth psychology is an effective and evidence‑based way to access support for a wide range of mental health concerns. Our online sessions offer the same depth, safety, and person‑centred care you would receive in person at our Spring Hill, Brisbane clinic, with the flexibility of connecting from anywhere in Australia.

As telehealth psychologists, we commonly support clients with:

Anxiety and stress

Including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic, health anxiety, study or work‑related stress, and overwhelm.

Depression and mood concerns

Low mood, loss of motivation, emotional fatigue, and difficulties with day‑to‑day functioning.

Trauma and post‑traumatic stress

Support for people who have experienced trauma, including single‑incident events, complex trauma, and ongoing stress.

Life transitions and adjustment

Changes in relationships, study, work, family roles, relocation, or identity that feel difficult to navigate.

Perfectionism and high performance pressure

Common in students, athletes, creatives, and professionals who feel stuck in cycles of pressure, burnout, or self‑criticism.

Self‑esteem and identity concerns

Exploring self‑worth, confidence, identity development, and patterns that impact relationships or wellbeing.

Emotion regulation and coping skills

Support for people who feel overwhelmed by their emotions or want to build healthier coping strategies.

Relationship and interpersonal difficulties

Including communication challenges, conflict patterns, attachment concerns, and couples counselling via telehealth.

Neurodiversity‑affirming support

For autistic and ADHD clients seeking therapy that is respectful, validating, and grounded in neuroaffirming practice.

Grief and loss

Support for bereavement, life changes, and the emotional impact of losing someone or something important.

Cancellation Policy

When appointments are booked, the psychologist holds the whole hour especially for you. Therefore we require 24 hours notice with the following cancellation policy in place. This allows us to offer the allocated time to another person who may be on a waiting list for that appointment.

Full fee for cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.

Full fee for an appointment that has been missed with no notice (non-attendance).

We understand that sometimes you may not be able to attend an appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the situation. You may call or email us at any time, even after hours, as we do have an answering service that allows you to leave a message and monitor our emails daily on business days.

The APS recommended cancellation fees are:

  • 0-24 hours notice: Full fee
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% of fee
  • 48 hours – 7 days notice: 25% of fee
